Sealand Multiversity due to open Spring 2012

Sealand Multiversity

The Sealand Multiversity of the Seven Seas (SLM) is an interdisciplinary platform for applied knowledge, wisdom and technology for water-related issues.
Its aim is to assemble, develop, evaluate, implement and provide sustainable solutions for people, communities and countries in need.

On its campus, it provides an exclusive test ground for sustainable technologies.
Furthermore, it hosts archives, a virtual fair and wiki for open technologies and related concepts.
The „Sealand Multiversity of the seven seas“ promotes and serves the ongoing field study „asap-island“, an artificial floating habitat, which is to be realized as soon as possible.

We are currently developing our online campus and it is due to open Spring 2012.

Please sign up to our monthly newsletter to be the first to hear about this exciting project!

I think this is a really worthwhile sounding project. It would appear to set a new direction for Sealand and perhaps reinvigorate its reason for being. It's a brave and timely endeavour. I look forward to finding out more and wish the team every possible
success.

That seems like a fun idea. The only real question, though, is how you'll get your pseudo-college ACCREDITED. I hope you do, because operating a fully legit college would be a HUGE step for the legitimacy of Sealand. Also, try lobbying the USA for official
recognition from time to time. Maybe someone will give your brilliant imagination some real recognition!
