Principality Notice
PN 012/01: Forged Sealand passports
03 October 2001
The Principality has recently communicated with the German Foreign Office and
has requested that Office to notify the International community that all
Sealand Passports issued since 1967 have been revoked and are no longer valid.
This has been necessary due to the extensive fraudulent forgery of Sealand
Passports during the last few years.
New Sealand Passports complying with the revised international format set out
in IEC/ISO 7501-1: 1997 are being issued to Sealand citizens, and only these
should be recognised.
Existing citizens requiring re-issue of passports should contact the Bureau
of Internal Affairs
(burint@sealandgov.org) at
SEALAND 1001, Sealand Post Bag, IP11 9SZ, UK
for further details.
